Questions About Tooth Whitening
Chesterfield and St. Louis, Missouri
Is the Sapphire™ whitening system affordable?
At Chesterfield Valley Dental Group, we work to keep all of our cosmetic dentistry treatments at a competitive price, and we offer affordable financing for patients who are not ready to pay at the time of their visit. Our professional tooth whitening system is a wonderful value. You can improve your smile up to 12 tooth shades in just one short visit.
How long does it take to achieve dramatic whitening results?
We will take upper and lower impressions to get an accurate mold of your teeth. It takes us approximately three days to make your bleaching trays. At that time, you will return to our office to get the trays and complimentary bleach. You will need to bleach at home every evening for 30 minutes. You will do this for a period of 14 days.
Can I whiten past dental work?
Dental crowns, fillings, porcelain veneers, and other dental restorations will not absorb the bleaching agent present in the Sapphire whitening formula. If you would like to ensure a uniform shade, you can talk to Chesterfield cosmetic dentist Dr. Robert Goldman or Dr. Jeffrey Yenzer about replacing old dental work to match your newly brightened smile.
Will over-the-counter whiteners make a difference in my smile?
There are many different drugstore whiteners on the market today. They are available in strips, paint-on formulas, toothpastes, and bleaching trays. However, these over-the-counter whiteners can only provide a restricted percentage of the main whitening ingredient. Many of our patients have tried a variety of over-the-counter whiteners with minimal changes that tend to fade easily. If you are searching for a powerful way to whiten with dramatic results, Chesterfield Valley Dental Group is your best choice.
What are some alternatives to whitening gel treatment?
If you would like a more permanent whitening improvement, you can choose cosmetic dentistry procedures that change the actual tooth face. Restorations such as porcelain veneers, dental crowns, and tooth bonding are a few of the additional ways you can whiten teeth. However, the Sapphire bleaching method is the most convenient, affordable way to whiten all of your teeth in a short amount of time. Our skilled Missouri cosmetic dentists can help you choose the most optimal solution for your needs.
Please contact our Chesterfield cosmetic dentists today to take advantage of our free initial tooth bleaching service, a $400-500 value. We serve patients in St. Louis and Chesterfield, Missouri.
