What is a Bone Graft?

Some patients who desire dental implants may not be candidates due to limited bone mass. In many cases, we are able to provide a bone graft to supplement the bone and create enough foundation to securely receive an implant post. Druing this procedure, bone from another area, such as the chin, is grafted to the implant site. Once healed, a patient may then return for dental implant placement.
